Newmark Theatre events

Newmark Theatre tickets & upcoming events

If you're looking for a Portland venue that really knows how to deliver a night to remember, the Newmark Theatre is where it’s at. Nestled right on Burnside Street with its iconic marquee lighting up the night, this place is a hub for culture and good vibes. It’s not just about catching a concert; it’s about the experience. The Oregon Symphony often takes the stage here, filling the space with lush, powerful sounds that make your spine tingle. And if you’re into ballet, the Oregon Ballet Theatre calls this place home, bringing elegance and artistry right to your seat. One of my favorite spots is actually near the back of the orchestra, it’s close enough to feel the music deep in your bones but still has a good view of the stage. The venue’s accessibility is pretty solid too, with easy-to-find seats on the lower tier that don’t make you feel like you’re in the nosebleeds. Oh, and getting there from downtown waterside? Just head northwest along the waterfront, easy peasy. Honestly, whether it’s catching Sweeney Todd’s dark, thrilling story or just soaking in the lively atmosphere, the Newmark Theatre never lets you down. Trust me, once you visit, you’ll keep coming back for more.
